The characteristics and influencing factors of change in farmland system vulnerability: A case study of Sanmenxia City, China

The farmland social-ecological system is an integral part of a regional ecological system, and uses its unique perspective to trace the evolution vulnerability whole ecosystem. Based on theory ecosystem vulnerability, Vulnerability Scoping Diagram (VSD) assessment framework index were constructed by using multi-factor comprehensive analysis, ArcGIS spatial analysis factor contribution model. We evaluate dynamic changes influencing factors in Sanmenxia City, aiming demonstrate ways which this changes. results showed downward trend city over period 17 years, from 0.60 2000 0.36 2016. From perspective, distribution uneven each district county. pattern changed “high Middle East-low southwest” southeast” Population growth, high-speed urbanization, intensity use, input other human social economic activities, together with implementation agricultural policies, have reduced natural risk impact system.
